What’s next?
The game yesterday was little disappointing, as the Nicks play probabely their worst season ever! But I had good conversation with Nicole from Florida who’s doing a Marketing internship for the Womens basketball team of New York. She told me a lot about the commercialization of American sport. After the game I went with three British and three Brazilian girls to have some drinks, downtan at the Village and Meatpacking area. That was funny, as the British girl didn’t speak something else than English, one the Brazilians some English and one French. The third one only spoke Portugese.
Today I decided to stay in New York for another two days. As the weather is nice today – some clouds but comfortable 23°C – I spent most of the time outside in parks. Currently I’m sitting in the Bryant Park and after sunset I will go to the public library.
As tickets for this evening’s musicals are available with discount as of 3 p.m. at the Mariott I invested 50 minutes of cueing and $77; the remuneration is a ticket for the Chicago musical tonight at Broadway!
Tomorrow I will try to get a ticket for a Monday morning China Town bus to Boston. Depending on the weather I will visit either the Guggenheim musem or go to the Botanic Garden of Brooklyn.
